Being a mage hasn't been easy. Dark magic wants to kill me, the tests in school keep getting harder, and now, I think I have another mate.

Another one. That makes three. How is that even possible? Something is definitely wrong with me. At this point, I could really use a vacation but no, this semester the sorcerers are being allowed on campus. Only a select few. But Claire Adderson is part of that select few, and I know she controls the dark magic. She wants even more power. I wouldn't be so worried if I thought the headmaster could help, but I trust him even less than the Mage's Guild Council and that's saying a lot.

At least Dillon and Kyle are with me. Together maybe we'll make it through this quarter. I just need to keep my head down which is a lot harder to do especially when the first day of the quarter, werewolves try to break out of the Moonlit Forest and the leader can't take his eyes off me. The other kids don't know I've fought him before, and if anyone finds out, I'm a goner. Headmaster Eyre will expel me before I can try to explain.
