Current state and ways to increase the economic efficiency of grain

In Russia, historically, that the production of cereal is the leading sector in the agricultural sector. Grain production in all stages of development of the coun-try, has played an important role in ensuring food security, since the 2000s, there has been an upward trend in grain collection volumes. Analyzing the data for 2017, Russia reached the historic maximum, collect-ing 127 million tons of grain. This trend will allow the country to import agricul-tural products in various world countries and occupy a large niche in the global production of this crop. But even with such a high and positive dynamics, this sector has its own problems and prospects of development, and that led to the timeliness and relevance of the chosen research topic.
