curious george bedtime book

This book was excellent and of the highest and strongest quality. My grandaughter who just turned 4 was sooo excited with it, that it made me happy that I gave it to her for her birthday...she loves it and her mommy reads it to her each night and then Aliyah says "Good Night George"...

Good Nightime Reading for Children

I bought this book for my one year old granddaughter's Easter Basket. Even at this young age she loves Curious George. The book tells a good story about the things you do to get ready for bed. She loves to have her Mommy read this book to her before she goes to sleep at night and is already pointing to the pictures. I'm sure it will be one of her favorites as she grows older. The book is a nice hard board book and has a good simple story for young children.

It rhymes

I tend to sing the books for my kids. And I found this one is easy to find a melody for coz it rhymes. The book goes through curious George's sleeping routine, like cleaning up the toys first, then brushing teeth, then bathing, then reading a book, and playing a little before sleeping and finally sleeping and dreaming. I find it encourages the kids to remember to pick up their toys and brush their teeth before sleeping themselves (not that they necessarily do it):)

Adorable -- a favorite in our home

It's a board book, and another in the too-long line on non-Rey "Curious George" titles, but this one is near-perfect bedtime reading. Loaded with cute illustrations (done not in the classic Rey style but that of the animated PBS Kids series), it should help any child develop a bedtime routine and get to sleep with a smile.

his favorite

My 18 month old son loves this book - he brings it to me to read to him even in the middle of the day. He points at the familiar objects on the pages (like George, toothbrush, blocks) and wants to look at it over and over again. I don't mind because it's also one of my favorite children's books. This is a keeper!
