Incredible account of an incredible mission

If you are interested in the cutting-edge of engineering and space exploration, this is a great read. I had not appreciated the pioneering of MSL and Curiosity before reading this book. Unique environmental constraints exist when going to Mars, and they are all explored in decent depth - as well as the engineering process to create something this complex. Manning capturing awe and terror of working on something that has never been done and might be impossible, and how it takes incredible persistence and... curiosity. He does a great job making this enjoyable for both science enthusiasts as well as the average interested reader.
