A soon-to-be-engaged art photographer's orderly life is disrupted when, enchanted by a mystic Cupid figurine, she crosses paths with an adventurous archeologist recovering stolen artifacts, and they experience transcendent love in Europe's most romantic cities.

Poppy Lane thinks she has her life mapped out. The talented London art photographer lives with her aristocratic boyfriend, Lawrence Atherton, and expects a marriage proposal. While traveling Europe in preparation for her first exhibition, she meets Damiano Monteiro, an enigmatic Portuguese archeologist who recovers stolen artifacts.
