This is a structured, detailed, step by step guidebook for setting up the Cultural Connections Program, CCP or a program alike to help international students succeed. The author co-created and successfully co-facilitated that program for almost 6 years at The University of Mississippi. The Guidebook contains all the necessary information about how to direct, guide and coordinate the program from start to finish - from the descriptions of activities, steps of publicity, essential documents and forms, to fliers and games. The CCP had helped more than a hundred international and local students in the process of adjustment and acculturation. It created many individuals a sense of comradery and belonging - a very important foundation for thriving and success. The author describes the very essential steps of creating such a foundation. The Guidebook provides with detailed instructions of how to set up multiple programs withing one umbrella program to capture a wide range of students and answer to their diverse needs. The Author had gained a lot of unique experiences and had witnessed very many international students flourish in their living and studying abroad that she hopes that this guidebook can offer such a possibility for many others who work or consider working with international students.
