I spent all four of my college years at Northern Michigan University in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In that time I learned to appreciate the beauty of nature that has been left alone. My college experience was not the typical one of partying and pulling all nighters to study. Although I gave the typical college life an honest try, most of my days in the U.P. were spent hiking and photographing God's country. This is more than just a photo book, it tells the stories of my countless and often foolish journeys in the U.P. I've gained an indescribable amount of experience in that time and the lessons I've learned are hidden within the book as well. After making the book, I realized it's not just about my personal journeys it's a general guidebook on how to find the things that make life worth living.
