Was marked as 'new condition' received a VERY not new condition Bible.

I LOVE this version of the Bible. It is my favorite. I'm not reviewing the text of the Bible, just the quality of the book. This was marked/listed as 'new condition' received a VERY not new condition Bible. No markings, but half the books had Bible tabs, and the half that didn't had obviously been removed, which left ripped pages/sticky residue behind. Very dissatisfied with this purchase. I was buying this for a friend to check out and see if she likes it. I'm too embarrassed to even show her. Wrinkled pages, a paperclip for every book. Some pages torn/stuck together. Terrible shape. Would never have paid $36 for quality like this when I can buy brand new for less.
