For whom do I write? Mainly for myself. I love watching how a passing thought becomes a sentence or a paragraph. Or put differently, how writing it down crystallizes thinking. I aim for verisimilitude and thus do a lot of doublechecking words and facts. All of which, I hope, will keep the aging synapses clicking.

I try to keep my writing light and entertaining. There's no hidden agenda. The forces for good and evil that rule our world - sex, religion, politics and mammon, especially mammon - are hardly touched upon. You hear enough about them on the misery box. Sorry, that was the dinosaur speaking. I meant misery monitor.
