If you're anything like us, you undoubtedly have a plethora of little pieces of fabric that you don't know what to do with since they're too small to be useful. You don't want to throw them away, but they are too little to be of any use to you in the long run. When it comes to quilting, the crumb quilt technique comes in handy. It is possible to use up all of those little scraps of fabric by using this technique to create lovely, colorful fabric that may be used to make quilts, pillow covers, appliqu?, purses and table runners amongst other things. First, you need to take two pieces of cloth and stitch them together, as long as both pieces of fabric have at least one straight edge. You can see in the image below that the two pieces have a straight edge on both sides, which allows me to sew the pieces together easily. The fact that they are not all the same length is irrelevant, so don't get too caught up with getting everything exactly where you want it.
