Crucial Step – Take it - and Immerse Yourself in Adventure!

I was gifted this wonderful book by Ian Laver and was immediately drawn into the story. Searching for answers about his father, young Theo travels to Malaysia where his father lived to find out more about his life – and death. I was captivated by Ian’s depiction of Malaysia’s rich culture and found myself feeling like I was really there, right beside Theo as he navigates his way through his eventful journey, making friends and enemies along the way. With adventure, unexpected twists and turns, Crucial Step is a great read. If you love adventure, or you’re thinking about venturing over to Malaysia (or even reminiscing about past jaunts there), this book is for you!
