losing interest in the series unfortunately

I started out initially really looking the series. with the exception of a bit on the childish side writing style I really liked crave, the first book but then it's seeming to go downhill from there. the second book adds in a bit of gay stuff which I'm not here for and the third there's more and Grace is losing her attractiveness as a heroine for me as she's playing a broken record with what I thought was going to be original feelings. I'm hoping something will happen to bring the quality back up but so far I'm halfway through and really starting to struggle with staying interested.
