Veronica and her twin brother Roman are the new kids in town. While Veronica struggles to adjust to life in Crosswell, Roman befriends a group of popular kids at school. At first glance, Roman's new friends seem to have it all, but there's a darkness hanging over them. One of their own was gruesomely murdered last year, and they never caught who did it. The leader of the group, Emily, has since made it her mission to terrorize everyone at school, and she especially has her eyes set on a girl named Harvie. Why does Emily hate Harvie so much?
