Two friends, Collin and Robert, chance upon a large sum of buried money whilst trespassing on private land. They steal it, and then return to their camp by the sea. Collin, however, has a terrifying vision during the night, which compels him to take back and replace his share of the loot. His decision to return the money brings him into sharp conflict with Robert, while his visionary experience marks the beginning of his spiritual and moral awakening. It also acts as a catalyst for discussions about creation science and Christianity. When two thugs steal Collin's fishing boat, a jovial lighthouse keeper called Alex persuades Collin to team up with him to find the craft.
