Wren has been a normal kid her whole life, except for one thing. She's had these wild dreams of a slave trying to escape from her master. A popular kid at school, by the name of Nova, kidnaps Wren and brings Wren to the future. Wren also discovers she has a past and she is the slave from her dreams. Now she has to go to the past during the Civil War and help the girl escape. The slave catchers aren't going to let this happen so easily though. Wren and her new friends now need to make it to the North and escape from the slave catchers without getting caught. However, there's an even bigger threat hiding in the shadows.
