In this book by Lee Strobel, which is excerpted from his larger work, The Case for Christ, you will find a narrative style of writing and one point: Jesus is the Messiah and He knew it. Strobel explains from his interviews with leading scholars, that Jesus was very much aware of His own identity as the Messiah. He further elaborates on the fact that the "fingerprint" evidence of Jesus as the fulfillment of Jewish Prophesy leave no other reasonable conclusion than Jesus is the Messiah. I picked up these books for a particular purpose. Due to its brevity, readability, and winsome style, this is a great tool to place in the hand of someone who is open to reading about the claims of Christianity.
