Crocky Dial Dooby Is A Tale Of Tails

A buried dragon's egg, stuffed in a sock, is uncovered by a mother crocodile. She thinks her discovery is to save an absent-minded, crocodile mother's abandoned pup and raise it as her own. Little Dooby grows up trying to hide his stubby winged appendages, in order to fit in with other crocodiles, but at great emotional cost.
However, mom's & dad's support, along with barbequing practice, fire controlling techniques & a positive outlook, inspires Dooby to learn to use his gifts for good. What was once judged a malady, becomes the town's greatest asset, when his wings and fire breathing are used to protect his village and family from invasion. This is a short story about how love empowers solutions, using perseverance & self belief to overcome life's obstacles and its naysayers.
