Lacey was happy with her life, though boring, it was routine and simple. Nothing exciting happened to her, but that was probably for the best. She was living on her own for the first time, making her own choices, being an adult, living it up in the big city.
One night after coming home from work, she witnessed a disturbing and brutal attack on a young man who lived in her complex.
