She is then offered a place within the Empath Collective, a secret organization dedicated to guiding and protecting Empaths, tempting her with the power she craves. A devastating betrayal leads to Seraphina's capture by the Hunters, a group dedicated to eradicating supernatural creatures. Lucian, weakened and unable to protect her, is forced to watch as she is taken away. Seraphina embraces her full potential as an Empath, realizing the extent of her powers and her connection to the Crimson Prophecy. She escapes the Hunters, using her abilities to manipulate their emotions and turn them against each other. With the Hunters defeated and the Crimson Prophecy seemingly averted, Seraphina and Lucian forge a new path for themselves, choosing to bridge the gap between Vampires and Empaths, working towards a future of peace and understanding.
