Crikey! there's a creature in the creek

By Dion Wright

Something strange is hiding in the creek...

When sisters Jess and Sarah venture off the path near their neighbourhood, they expect nothing more than a bit of exploring. Instead, they discover a tiny, frightened creature being attacked by crows.

It looks part crocodile, part dingo-and unlike anything they've ever seen.

They name him Crocodingo.

At first, keeping him secret seems simple. They bring him food, earn his trust, and watch as the strange little creature becomes part of their lives.

But Crocodingo doesn't stay little for long.

As he grows bigger, stronger and harder to hide, Jess and Sarah begin to realise that caring for a wild creature comes with consequences. They saved him. They raised him.

But will he love them?

Crikey There's a Creature in the Creek is a fast-paced Australian creature adventure packed with mystery, humour, sisterly bickering and just the right amount of scares.

Perfect for young readers who love strange creatures, creepy discoveries and adventures hiding just beyond their own backyard.
