Located in Richmond, Virginia, an estranged child by the name of Rico Ballistar is born into a broken family where his father leaves him after he is born and his mother and half-sister neglect him. He has no friends, but due to what seems like a fateful circumstance, finally makes one. They immediately get along and share a few fond moments together. Though not long after, his friend is murdered, and we know exactly who did it. He is at the wrong place and time, and he is framed for it. He ends up evading the corrupt police force and goes into hiding with a close, family friend. Five years later, he, nor the real murderer is caught, and the case goes cold.
