What means "creativity"? Can one, anyone turn more creative and how? Some graduate students from the University of Chicago debate this subject, trying to learn how to handle the complexity that is inured in creativity. Creativity, as the discussions in this book lead to, is something undoubtedly complex and may take you through a lot of philosophy, science but also many commonalities. In the end it is quite simple, but the way to this simplicity is very complex. However creativity has been the most important issue for which the intellectuals and ordinary people, all along the history, were looking for. The true "creators" have been considered geniouses, great artists, or at least out of ordinary. Creativity is magic, comes with surprises, humors you and the others, and changes everything. Being creative, some complex consequences occur, and new responssibilities are in order to be fulfilled. Dan tries to disclose those many new ways the nonlinear, complex systems theory leads to. He considers that everything could have a novel interpretation by employing the benefits of this theory. All his books have debated nonlinear issues and have shown the complexity of oportunities they open up to. In the last 15 years, his main effort has been to accomodate his mind of a geologist and geographer to the nonlinear, complex systems theory and to spread these extraordinary but new ideas further on.
