Wonderful book - lovely pictures and excellent text

The photos/pictures/references to go with the text are so beautiful and inspiring. Differences in pastels, soft, hard, pencils, plus the best types of paper for pastel painting are easy to understand. Step by step demonstrations are wonderful and include portraits, landscapes, still lifes, shadow placement and more. So far the best pastel painting book I have read and I have a number of them. Highly recommend.
