Taken in the context of today, this book on games is not much. I'm reviewing this from the perspective of a novice programmer in 1984. The Sinclair computers had a few ways to program them, from the relatively difficult assembly language to the built in Basic. This book is targeted for the novice basic programmer. It has a series of projects that build a programmer up from scratch. Covers number games, word games, board games, simulation games, dice games, card games and finally grid games.I would recommend this book for the super novice basic programmer, as it does not cover any high end programming details.
