The central issue driving this research is to identify the key success factors for the implementation of an online platform for equity crowdfunding and collaborative entrepreneurship. The main objective is to identify the key success factors for the empirical implementation of a Crowdequity platform. Our work consists of studying the factors influencing the success of fundraising campaigns on the two French platforms, WiSEED and ANAXAGO. Developed within a dynamic entrepreneurial context, this research has helped provide some answers to a set of fundamental technical and managerial issues related to the creation and management of a Crowdequity platform. The contributions of this research fall into three categories and can be found in theoretical, methodological, and managerial aspects alike.
