People's lives develop. We all have moved from a helpless tiny baby that needs everything done for it to where we are today. Past lives tell us that our later years are, or should be, ones of great achievement. No one is great to start with: we have all got to grow into greatness. Or achievement. Earth is like that. We grow in earth achievements. Then we die. Then we start again. But we cannot carry anything of earth over the barrier of death.
