Crazy quilting is a type of patchwork that includes embellishments on the seams, patches, and borders. This embellishment always includes embroidery and often includes other elements. The Crazy Quilt Volume series examines these types of techniques in more depth. The Volume I: Beyond the Basics focused on the design aspect of planning a project and broadly discussed enough embellishment techniques for a novice to create a crazy quilt. This book, Volume II: Ribbon Embellishments contains designs and instructions for several types of ribbon techniques. The best known in the Crazy Quilt area would be Silk Ribbon Embroidery.
