We live as if the days going by would lead us somewhere, perceiving that our decisions are almost worthless. By no means could that feeling generate a powerful mood, or a willingness to venture in the times to come. Instead, there is a dose of resignation and some hope. Crafting the Future shows us where we may intervene, and it provides a hypothesis for our relationship with time, in which we have lost our contact with love, in the relationship with others, extenuating our strength in the pursuit of control. In a time of so many changes triggered by those who feel they can influence the world, this book illustrates how we may move amidst a world undergoing constant changes, like sea waves. Which new ways of thinking may lead individuals, companies, governments, etc. to take responsibility for the future they build? I am sure that the understanding of the future and the change in the relationship to it will positively influence consultants and coaches in their work with their clients on that sense. The proposal entails traveling this wonderful path together by understanding how our way of observing ourselves will lead us through a successful journey to discover our historical approach and to design potentialities that may trigger surprise, connection, possibility and construction of peace.
