As a Latina, I liked this take on the devil.

Growing up stories about the devil were used for punishment or instilling obedience. I loved how Lima made the devil her friend, like a co-conspirator, not someone to fear. Also loved the way her story flowed, I imagined someone sitting back & remembering their life.
