A rollicking book of poems about Cows, the most mystical and magically imaginative animals on 4 legs... and sometimes roller skates. We all love cows. Why? Perhaps because they are so unpredictable: I mean, who would guess you might meet a cow shopping in a mall, or patiently letting a child dance on its ribs and spine, or pirouetting in a barn late at night? But here, in these pages, you will meet wild cows, blue cows, flying cows and cows that play baseball, with pitchers and cream. Blake Steele got afflicted with a rhyming bug for years, which he finally recovered partially from enough to write novels and things, but not before he wrote a way too largely amount of poems that sing. Besides singing things and novels he has recorded a thousand of his poems, (ok, these count as singing things too), painted things, photographed things, traveled around and through, on top of and under things, and eaten lots of food as he's gone along to keep going. Here are some words by other people about his words and how they have affected them. "The words of Blake Steele shine with energy and insight." Naomi Shihab Nye, Nationally honored Poet and Author, USA "Blake is a good seer. He carries the sky with him."
