Excellent Book! Highly recommended!

I must say I LOVE this book. This is a Must have Book for your children, grandchildren nieces or nephews. One of the best! Recommended for children of all ages. Great book to learn about the animals and the things they can and cannot do. It even teaches adults a few things. I love the story, Excellent illustration! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wonderful book!

Wow! I give this book 5 stars without hesitation! It is fun, funny, educational and has fabulous illustrations. On top of all of that, it sends a positive message to children. A definite must-read-to for small children, and a must-read for children a bit older and just learning to read. I hope to see more from Dave Reisman!

Simple yet brilliant

"Cows Can't Jump" is simply written yet the message it provides to young children and adults alike is brilliantly captured! The vibrant illustrations add a uniqueness to the story. I was so impressed with the simple, yet powerful message portrayed for the readers that I am going to purchase a copy for my two-year-old son and I to read together. I'm looking forward to reading more children's books from the author soon.

Great Message!

This book has a great message for kids - and adults! Just as not all animals can do the same things, not all people are good at the same things...but we all have something that we do well! Adorable illustrations accompany this message, flowing from one animal to the next - often in a very funny progression. The repetitive nature of the text will appeal to young kids, who love to anticipate and "read" along. My kids are 2, 3 and 5, and this book is right up their alley!

Sure-to-be Classic!

This is not only my 6-year old daughter's favorite but one of mine too. It is simple yet rich with education, color and fun. Katie loves reading this and has learned quite a bit about the different animals. She has repeatedly asked to read this...it's a bed-time favorite. The celebration of individual traits and abilities and the recognition that one doesn't have to be capable of everything fosters great conversation about appreciation of oneself and of others. This is sure to be a classic cherished by young readers and their parents.
