Is marriage that important?

This book answers that question unequivocally with a resounding yes, and does so with Bruce Hafen's unique background. He tackles the marriage issue from a historical, legal and doctrinal perspective that is fascinating. Although he does give a few how-to pointers on how to make a marriage work, this is not a marriage self-help book in the traditional sense. His angle is to help one understand the WHY of marriage, why it is so very vital to individuals, AND to society as a whole. This is one of the most influential books I have read in years, and comes at a time when it is sorely needed. I recommend this book as a must-read for anyone's list.

Great book on the importance of marriage

This is one of the best books I've read about the importance of marriage. This book doesn't give tips on how to improve your marriage, but talks about how marriage is necessary for individuals, families and for society. It also talks about the declining birth rates and the problems that is causing. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn more on how marriages are important.
