These poems are about making corrections along life's journey. . The US Navy initially trained me as an electronics technician with navigational emphasis. I learned how to plot a course, lay a plumb line to specific destinations, and make course corrections. But all the intelligence gathered did not teach me how to navigate life. I made a mess of that. I chose badly with the two ex-wives, numerous dead-end jobs, and goalless wanderings. I've seen the world - but - until now the world has not seen me. That changed when I heard the word and listened to the spirit. The spirit speaks a word and I react by writing a phrase that becomes a line and then a poem. The poem becomes a step in a journey from chaos to God's peace.
