The Courage of Carol

Thirteen year old Carol is in a terrible motorcycle accident while visiting relatives in Iowa. Her famous preacher father Robert Schuller and mother Arvella are in Korea teaching and speaking with ministers when they receive the news. They rush back to the U.S. all the while knowing that Carol has lost her leg. The book is written in alternating chapters by Carol's parents. Carol is Courage personified! In each case their faith is challenged. This book is short and and simply written. Much of Rev. Schuller's positive thinking approach is apparent on these pages. Most amazing though, is Carol's faith. At a tender age she has a rock steady faith in God and calls on Him to get her through this horrfic ordeal and pain. This tiny book is a real Christian page turner. I plan to buy several copies of this book as gifts for teenagers in my life.
