The pictures included in the book are reminiscent of Khalo’s work and incorporate some of Mexico’s more popular traditions. Though it’s a short book, and only counts up to ten, it’s a worthwhile book because little ones love the bright pictures and bilingual parents will enjoy the opportunity to trace numbers, count objects, and read in both Spanish and English, while celebrating Mexican culture.
