A pre-requisite for being a human

I wrote this story about my boy and what it means to have someone or something that you are afraid to lose. This is a story of love, faith and the search for a reason to believe. My boy was not supposed to survive and this is a story about what if feels like to spit in the face of death. It's a story about the Woman's and Children's Hospital of Buffalo and the wonderful works of Dr. Marc Levitt and Dr. Michael Caty and the absolutely amazing staff of people assembled at that astounding facility.
