pretty good...

I recently purchased this book of "This Desert Life" by Counting Crows. It's decent. I don't understand certain decisions (such as their claim of 7 guitars in St. Robinson...) but the transcriptions are just as accurate as they are in the "Recovering the Satellites" book (also by Hal Leonard). All in all, I'm pretty happy. I would suggest, though, that if you want to follow these transcriptions verbatim, it might help to write out each part separately, as they can get a little confusing to follow straight out of the book.

Too advanced for me

I can't comment to much on this book as I haven't really been able to use it. My beginner guitar skills are far to feeble to actually play just about anything in the book. I'm sure it'd be fantastic for a CC fan who can actually play the guitar.
