Countdown to Christmas

Teaching in a Christian classroom is wonderful, but finding the right teaching materials that "fit" my class is sometimes hard. I found Countdown to Christmas: Devotionals for Families a great book that my class has used for 3 years now. The Person of the Day gets to color & cut out the ornament, we read the devotion in the book, the ornament gets a yarn string and added to our class Christmas tree. Each ornament has a special meaning for what Christmas is really all about! Each day we also review the ornaments previously placed on the tree. What a great teaching tool!
