What a uniquely written and very entertaining approach to love and healing; or is it healing and love! This book weaves romance, psychology, suspense and humor into a moving tale. Check it out to find out...you won't be disappointed. This book leaves you not just wanting, but actually ready for or feeling like you "need" a sequel. Also, like a good television show, you find yourself almost talking to the characters trying to warn them of pitfalls, or direct them towards good outcomes, and ultimately their joy.
There must be a next one!!

This book described how sometimes we let life and past experiences cloud the emergence of developing relationships and healing. Wanda Tobe has painted a story line with such imagery and realism that it can compare to the Monet in its ambiance. Tobe takes us into a character's life and spreads friends and family smoothly across Katrina's canvas of dilemma and denial. They are so well developed that the unraveling of WWII comes to mind. We have all the major players-Germany, US, Japan, and Italy and retrospectively, there's Katrina, Roselyn, Derrick, and the psychiatrist. I cannot help but to continue reading because Katrina's attempts to keep people out of her life are not far from what we find ourselves doing to shield hurt. I reflect back to the scene where she's at a doorstep with a duffel bag in her hand hoping that her mistake is forgivable. Hoping that time has not past her by. Realizing that loving yourself is not enough when there's someone else who also wants to love you. Tobe's collaboration of emotional stress and the timeless saying, "I'm fine," is an excellent portrayal of how when we're in overload, we don't often ask for help. Tobe has shown her artistic expression and love for writing. I recommend this book as a great read because it appeals to those who enjoy what books are supposed to do-give us a panoramic view of someone else's thoughts.

This was an awesome first seller. I really enjoyed it because it had such great detail that it made my imagination run wild. I fell in love with Derrick and could relate to Katrina because she is so passionate about dancing and so am I.This book showed me that no matter what trials and tribulations that you may go through that trouble don't last always and love will also overcome all, as long as it is meantto be. Thanks for the good read Wanda Toby. I'll be anticipating the next book because she's got skills!!!!

I almost lost my job reading this outstanding book. I started late one evening and did not put it down until dinner time the next day. I had to call in sick because I cold not bear to tear my eyes away. Derrick and Katrina are wonderful and real. It is great to see that two people overcome despair. Everyone needs to read this down to earth novel. I can't wait for the next book from this new and definitely shining author.
