Correctional Law for the Correctional Officer

Well packaged when delivered. The book was mandated reading for the Corporal's exam. Helpful information, it reads easily, though as one might expect, a little dry. Of course, I doubt that it was written for casual reading. But definitely a good book for supplemental law enforcement.

A MUST HAVE!

This came highly recommended from numerous senior correctional officers. Once I received it, I knew why... This should be required reading for correctional officers!

Correctional Law

A little book for the price, but filled with essential information for the CO, or any person working in the correctional environment. Easily readable with short quizzes at the end of each chapter. Gives a good review of the rights of prisoners and points of law. All the answers are in the back of the book. Many of the questions are found on the ACA certification tests.

Good Book for Basic Information

This is a good book filled with lots of basic information. If you are new to corrections, or are just learning about the subject area, then this is a good starting point. More advanced readers, such as those with extensive legal experience, will want a book with more punch. But as an introductory book this is a good one. I require it in my Correctional Law class.
