Is it anything like the ten Plagues of Egypt? Well, fairly close. 2020 was a year like no other in history both modern and "ancient" (that includes the much referenced 1918 Spanish flu pandemic). A cauldron of circumstances combined to make the kickoff year to a new decade one of the nadirs of the twenty-first century (which is really saying something, considering how many there have been thus far).
