Book Two in the Cornball Brotha Saga
When the Harmony Towers awaken, the city starts to dream-and not all dreams are friendly.
Mookie Tyles never asked to be a hero. He just wanted to keep the Funplex running, keep the Curve from falling apart, and maybe get through a day without his experimental golf ball-Birdie-going cosmic on him. But when NeuBoCo activates its sinister Back Nine Protocol, everything changes. The Towers begin rewriting civic life, bending the city's emotions, memories, and behavior into something cold, quiet, and controlled.
The Curve pushes back.
Mookie's reluctant alter-ego, Cornball Brotha, becomes the spark of a neighborhood uprising-joined by the visionary Councilwoman Shavonne Parker, funk-griot sage Z-Beezy, mysterious janitor-oracle M, and prodigy hacker-engineer Jambalaya Jones, who arrives with rhythm-coded tech that can scramble the Towers themselves.
As psychic funkquakes ripple through the streets and forgotten Architect spirits stir beneath the asphalt, the community discovers a truth long buried:
The city remembers its people. And it knows when someone is trying to erase them.
But NeuBoCo has its own champion-the dangerously unstable Razor Gill, whose delusions grow stronger as the Towers hum louder. And CEO Doctor Wells is ready to "correct" the Curve permanently.
To save their neighborhood, Mookie must confront the past NeuBoCo stole from him, harness Birdie's true intention-driven power, and lead a movement that blends ancestral rhythm, street-level solidarity, and transcendental funk.
In a city humming with ghosts, frequencies, and revolution, one truth becomes clear:
A groove can crumble an empire... if played true enough.
