Can you be the one who watches over me tonight, grandma dear, I trust your eyes, don't worry, I don't need you to say a thing, I know that you can't up there, but from up there, can you watch over me, I need not words, just a hand near who will reach out only when you know I need you, and I hold no doubts that you do still bare that ability after all these years of being down here without you, I've never felt without you, I would never allow myself to believe in good faith that I am without you, I care little for anyone else looking over me, some wish for any angels, and here am I, wishing only for you to be the one watching over me, so do I ask only one thing of you, dear, can you watch over me tonight
