The recent developments of science and technology in Tanzania have made copyright protection and exceptions to become of vital importance compared with the ancient period where these changes were not noticeable. A lot of copyrighted information is accessed online through downloading;and many other electronic means without any justifiable limitations at the same time the owners of the copyrighted materials are trying to total prevent the accessibility of copyrighted materials which in the end affects the balance between the owner's and user's rights on the use such intellectual property rights. The author have tried to create the analytical and descriptive explanations aimed at discovering whether the rules of copyright protection and exceptions are efficient in literature and practice. The book entails that Copyright Protection in Tanzania is undermined by the development of science and technology which affects many of the copyright aspects in our current law (Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act CAP 218 R.E. 2002].)
