Copycat Animals is a great resource

I am a speech-language pathologist and find this book to be very useful when working with my preschool clients who are learning pretend play and how to imitate motor speech movements. I've been using this book with my autistic clients as well as clients with undiagnosed oral motor delays. The kids are fascinated with the pictures of real children dressed up as different animals, and they really enjoy looking in the mirror included on the back page and trying to copy the animals' facial expressions. The kids get especially excited and animated when they imitate the lion and its roar!

Great for early reading

We received this book as a gift when our son was nine months old. He would turn the pages and laugh out loud when we got to the mirror at the end. I am sure it has aided in his desire to read books now. (We lost it and we are now purchasing it again! )

Fun fun book!

What a great, fun book to look through with the kids! The kids loved it, and I loved watching them have fun with it.
