Copp?lia is the story of a German dollmaker and alchemist, Dr. Copp?lius, who fools his village into thinking that his greatest creation, a life-like doll, has actually comes to life! Misunderstanding follows as a young Swanilda finds her betrothed, Franz, more interested in the new "girl" rather than his true love. In the end Franz learns a valuable lesson about gratitude and appreciation and Dr. Coppelius must decide what is most important to him...dabbling in magic and potions or using his skills as a dollmaker!

The Rogue Swan Adventure Series is a series of children's books based on classical ballet fairytales and adapted and illustrated by immigrant kids. Our books contain original text and illustrations from our wonderfully talented child artists.
