When I first came across this unusual subject it was more than four decades ago, during my early teens. My next-door neighbor was terminally ill with copper pox poisoning. Strange enough as a present witness then to Mr. Ben's pain and suffering, I remembered he offered the doctor the sum of ten thousand dollars in cash or any amount to get him better. The doctor refused, he told Ben he was unable and couldn't help him. I never forgot that day and spent many years investigating this strange illness. It felt more like superstition at times but weird as this may sound, copper pox poisoning is a very real disease unknown to the world and it has no cure whatsoever. This is the second book of my local series, Real Life Stories - Trinidad and Tobago
