Here are some of my favorite Cajun recipes and this is about as authentic of a Cajun cookbook as you can get on the bayou or anywhere else This is the cookbook that will show you how to cook Southern culinary delights and will help you make the same gumbo roux we do on the Louisiana bayous. For many years, my people have cooked on the bayous of Louisiana to feed their families and their friends. The meats they cooked were mostly hunted and fished, and the vegetables were all homegrown, so we knew we were eating the best. I am the only boy in the family, so I was taught how to cook by my grandma and my mom. No one can teach you these things in a classroom.So, I have decided to introduce a Cajun cookbook, and I know my children will carry on with the Gueniot Cajun cooking tradition.
