Cookie is the cutest and spunkiest calf in the county, even though her left hind leg is scarred and difficult to walk on because of a wolf attack when she was a baby. She lives on a farm with her mother and friends.All is well until an old bull moves to the farm. The bull is a friend of Cookie's parents, and Cookie discovers that her father, who she thought dead all this time, is still alive at a place called Flat Road Ranch. But Flat Road Ranch is also a place where cattle are raised to be butchered.
