Behind the closed bars of PRISON!!!

Andy is introduced to readers at the beginning of the story. Andy is man that desperately wants to be a woman. He starts taking estrogen pills to become a woman and reading a magazine titled OUT to see how much it costs to have surgery to remove his 'male part'. The authors of this book take readers on a rollercoaster road as Andy becomes Candy and sent to do some time in prison for fraud. The first day Candy walks into the Correctional Facility all eyes are on him because HE looks just like a SHE and men can't believe he was born a man. He has the pretty face, almond shape brown eyes, smooth skin, perfect breasts and bodacious booty. This book was definitely an eye opener as to what REALLY goes on in prison. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, but I will go ahead and warn readers this book is very very EXPLICIT! The ending was so sad.. If you wanna know what goes on with men in prison pick this book up today!

A Must Read, Highly Recommended

I have read "Convict's Candy" and I must say it well deserves five stars!!!!! I then scanned the other reviews, James Bray's review caught my eye. Why??? Because of Mr. Bray's INCONSISTENCIES in his own GRAMMER. We all make mistakes. It reminded me of an appropriate saying, "Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, criticize." Bray, while you're still looking in the dictionary for correct spellings, look up "BRAY". Convict's Candy is a must read, I highly recommend this book to everyone. Keep up the good work Amin and Jason. Looking forward to the next book.

Informative...entertaining!!!

This book should be read by everyone... It tells a very detailed story on how life really is in our prison system's. This book will grab you from beginning to end. I read it in one day! You want the truth about Aids,Jail,and the down low. This is a must read. I wish I could just give a copy to everyone in the world. Especially women in general. Convicts Candy is a very very Real book. You will sit down at the end of this book and really think " My God " This is why the statistics say women and particularly Black Women are the highest percent of people who have HIV and AIDS...Please read this book and pass it on......

WOW!! This book is an absolute must read especially for all the sistahs out here doing time with their "MEN". It's definately an eye opener to as what's really going on behind prison walls, once you pick this book up it'll be hard to put down, it keeps you quessing throughout the book. LOVED IT. The authors really did their thing when writting this book. Keep it up & I wish you guys much more success.

This book will leave your speechless-MUST READ

CONVICTS CANDY is intense, gritty and most of all real. It allows you to go behind those prison walls and see what our brothers are doing. However the authors Damon Meadows and Jason Poole where in no way insinuating that all brothers behind bars indulge in homosexual activities. They felt that this story needed to be told and if not they were doing a terrible injustice to their community. The book was very well written to educate our community on a serious social issue "HIV". This book is a real page turner. Glad my review is the first. Damon and Jason keep doing what you do.
